MADRID, 17th May, 2023 (WAM) — Omar Obaid Al Hassan Al Shamsi has presented to His Majesty King Felipe VI, King of the Kingdom of Spain his credentials as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to the Kingdom of Spain.
Shamsi conveyed greetings to His Majesty the King of Spain from His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President; Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Mak, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Toum; and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister in the Presidency, and their wishes for the further development and prosperity of the Spanish people.
For his part, His Majesty extended greetings to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai Sheikh Mohamed bin Rashid Al Maktou His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Office, expressed his wishes for further development and prosperity to the people of the UAE.
His Majesty wished the Ambassador success in strengthening bilateral relations between the UAE and Spain in various fields, and stressed his country’s readiness to provide all possible support to facilitate his mandate.
For his part, Al Shamsi is proud to represent the UAE in the Kingdom of Spain and is eager to strengthen bilateral relations in various fields in a way that will help strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two countries.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the cooperation between the UAE and the Kingdom of Spain and discussed ways to develop cooperation to realize the interests and aspirations of the two countries and their peoples.
