ABU DHABI, 14th February, 2023 (WAM) — Abu Dhabi today announced the start of a bilateral link in the transport system between the UAE and Kuwait.
This took place during a bilateral meeting between the delegations of the two countries in Abu Dhabi, where Major General Khalifa Hareb Al Khaili, Undersecretary of the Ministry of the Interior, met the Kuwaiti delegation led by Major General Jamal Hatem Al Sayegh, the Ministry of Interior of Kuwait responsible for transport and operations. The meeting discussed how to strengthen the existing cooperation between the two countries in the fields of police and security. In addition, it was announced that the bilateral connection of the transport system will be completed in an integrated bay project aimed at exchanging information, harmonizing procedures and facilitating the services provided.
The Kuwaiti delegation was briefed on the Security Support Operations Room of the General Directorate of Security Support, and the advanced systems used in the room to support decision makers and follow up on the police system during the event.This also helps to work in a scientific manner based on accurate statistics, in addition, the room contains equipment, equipment and smart police systems that make up an integrated system, which helps in providing data to various departments of the Ministry of the Interior to enhance readiness, readiness and speed of response
