Emirates News Agency – UAE President awards Angolan ambassador ‘Medal of Independence First Class’

ABU DHABI, 28th May, 2023 (WAM) — President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has awarded the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Angola to the UAE, Albino Marengo, the First Class Order of Independence for his role as The term of the Ambassador to the UAE came to an end with appreciation for his work, which has contributed to the development and strengthening of relations between the two countries in many fields.

Sheikh Shakhboot bin Nahyan Al Nahyan, Minister of State, presented the medal to Malungo and wished the Ambassador success in his future responsibilities, commending his role in strengthening the remarkable relationship between the UAE and the Republic of Angola in various fields during his tenure.

For his part, Marengo expressed his appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, highlighting the UAE’s achievements, which reflect the acumen of its leadership and its efforts to enhance The success of the country in terms of its standing on the global stage.

The ambassador thanked all UAE government agencies for their support in carrying out his duties to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries.
