The two sides exchanged views on the latest regional and international developments of mutual concern, emphasizing their shared views on the need to peacefully resolve regional conflicts and strengthen international security and stability.
His Highness President Sheikh Mohamed expressed his pleasure at visiting Greece and advancing bilateral relations between the two countries, noting the importance of developing on the basis of the agreements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed by both parties.
He also stressed the need for enhanced cooperation to jointly address common challenges in the economy, trade, food security and climate change.
Sheikh Mohamed thanked Mitsotakis for inviting the UAE as the guest of honor to participate in the 86th annual Thessaloniki International Fair (TIF) scheduled for September 10-18, 2022. The UAE was the first Arab country to be invited to participate as a guest of honor at the event, which is considered to be the oldest international trade fair dating back to 1926, he said. Mitsotakis praised the UAE’s major efforts to maintain regional and international security and peace and to promote tolerance and moderation, stressing Greece’s desire to further strengthen bilateral relations with the UAE.

They urged the private sectors of both countries to engage in joint ventures to achieve the goals of their strategic partnership, and affirmed the need to explore new ways to increase trade, while stressing the importance of the private sector in advancing bilateral economic relations.
