The statement was part of the UAE’s speech at the 7th Congress of Leaders of World and Traditional Religions in Kazakhstan, delivered by Director-General Afraa Al Saberi on behalf of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, on behalf of the Ministry of Tolerance and Coexistence, He led the ministry’s delegation to the meeting.
In her speech, Al Saberi explained the role of the Ministry and UAE community agencies in promoting noble human values.
She highlighted the efforts of the UAE leadership and people to promote the values of peaceful coexistence, freedom of belief and human fraternity around the world, as well as the experience of women’s empowerment.
She continued that the country’s statement highlighted its moderate religious principles and its role in advancing the social and educational status of women, noting that the UAE’s experience is guided by clear goals, resulting in the current high status of Emirati women, who Is driven by religious values and Emirati heritage.
The UAE delegation also held several meetings with various delegations and international figures to discuss ways to promote cooperation on issues related to freedom of belief, tolerance, coexistence and human fraternity.
