ABU DHABI, 22nd March, 2023 (WAM) — Umm Al Emarat Park welcomes Ramadan with various activities for family and friends to enjoy. Visitors will be able to enjoy Ramadan night in the park, which will begin with the firing of cannons at the Maghrib prayers each day, marking the end of the fast.
For an even more special Eid, visitors can have fun at picnics in parks in partnership with Green For Life. To add to the Ramadan mood, the park will also be beautifully decorated throughout the month.
Visitors will enjoy health and fitness activities organized by the park in partnership with Peak Fitness on the first weekend of Ramadan, such as starting their weekend with a refreshing run on the green jogging track with a trainer.
The rest of Ramadan weekend will bring lots of fun family friendly activities such as face painting, art workshops, traditional Ramadan atmosphere with agarwood players, tanoura dancers, traditional Emirati food and coffee for the whole family. Additionally, there is a range of Ramadan products and sweets available for purchase.
Art lovers can also indulge in art exhibitions at the park throughout Ramadan, as well as musical performances and other cultural events.
Visitors can also take part in a weekly quiz on the park’s Instagram channel, where the lucky winner of each week will win a fitness membership card worth AED 499.
The iconic Park Cinemas is also showing fun family movies every Friday and Saturday night at the Children’s Garden at 7pm and 9pm. Kids can also get creative with origami, balloon twisting and colorful bug stations.
