Passengers from India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and other restricted countries can leave the airport if the transit time exceeds 10 hours
Dubai’s flagship airline, Emirates, has launched a new service for passengers transiting at Dubai Airport, who have to wait longer to catch up with their flights. This service, called Dubai Connect, allows travelers to enjoy free hotel accommodation, pick-up and drop-off services and visas to enter the UAE.
The Dubai transfer service is available for passengers with a transfer stay of 10 to 24 hours. It applies to all classes (first class, business class and economy class).
This service must be booked at least 24 hours before the departure of the flight to Dubai.
How to book a Dubai transfer
>> To book a transfer service in Dubai, the connecting flight in the passenger’s itinerary must be the best available connecting flight. This means that your stopover time in Dubai between your two flights must be the shortest one.
>> If connecting flights depart one after another and arrive at an earlier connecting flight at the passenger’s destination, the booking does not meet the conditions for a Dubai transfer.
>> Passengers from one of the restricted countries (Bangladesh, India, Nigeria, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, South Africa, Uganda, Vietnam, Zambia) who have booked a Dubai transit package must comply with the requirements of the final destination and comply with UAE entry and supervision Require.
>> If you are departing from one of the restricted countries, if your transit time exceeds 10 hours, you will be required to leave the airport.
Options for staying outside the airport during transit:
>> If you are eligible for the Dubai transfer package, you can book the service at least 24 hours before departure.
>> If you are not eligible for Dubai Connect, if you are eligible for a visa on arrival or have a pre-approved visa to enter Dubai, you can stay in a hotel or live with family and friends at your own expense.
>> If you cannot provide proof of leaving the airport for more than 10 hours of transit time, you will be denied boarding at the place of departure.
