Emirates provides much-needed additional baggage allowance for passengers travelling to Lebanon – Dubai Blog

Support its Lebanese clients, communities and diasporas around the world, From this week until September 30, 2021*, Emirates will provide additional baggage services for travel to Beirut from around its network.

Due to the severe shortage of basic goods and medicines in Lebanon, Emirates passengers will be able to use the extra 10 kilograms of luggage to pack extra items to support family and friends returning home. Economy and business class tickets booked from the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon and Australia are eligible for an additional 10 kg baggage allowance**.

Emirates customers travelling to Beirut via Dubai from the United States, Canada, Brazil, Zambia, Angola, Guinea, Senegal, South Africa, Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana will be eligible to carry an additional 23 kg of luggage.

Customers can enjoy additional baggage allowance for travel booked through emirates.com, Emirates sales offices, travel agencies and online travel agencies. The baggage allowance applies to inbound and outbound travel from Beirut.

Emirates is committed to making a positive impact in its services to communities around the world. Last year, it established a humanitarian air bridge with Lebanon to deliver urgently needed emergency relief supplies.
