Emirates resumes daily operations to Taipei

[ad_1]

Emirates’ Taipei-Dubai route is scheduled to operate daily from November 6, after Taiwan’s reopening plan ended and mandatory Covid-19 quarantine restrictions on arrivals ended.

Emirates flight EK366, operated by Boeing 777, took off from Dubai at 02:50 and arrived in Taipei at 14:45. The return flight EK367 from Taipei took off at 22:45 and arrived in Dubai at 4:35 the next day. All times are local time.

The increased frequency will provide Emirates passengers with more connections and options to and from Taiwan to help meet the demands of business and leisure air travel. Eligible travelers can travel to Taiwan without a visa, and all inbound travelers are advised to undergo a 7-day self-health monitoring. Travellers are encouraged to review the latest entry requirements.

Emirates began direct daily flights to Taipei in 2014, operated by a Boeing 777. The Dubai-Taipei route was later upgraded to a two-class A380 service per day in 2016. The airline has a solid partnership with the market, thanks to its contribution to the local community and air cargo during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Emirates’ return to daily flights from its current 4 weekly flights demonstrates the airline’s commitment to helping the market’s travel and tourism recover and connecting travelers to cosmopolitan cities by connecting travelers to more than 130 destinations across its global network to help drive inbound traffic.

Asia’s tourism recovery has been strong over the past few months, as many countries eased entry restrictions to revive local tourism and resume business as usual.

Following this positive trajectory, Emirates has been increasing capacity to some of its most popular Asian destinations to help meet pent-up and growing demand for air travel, including increased frequency to Singapore and Guangzhou, as well as Its flagship A380 was deployed to Seoul to launch its signature first class product on the Manila-Dubai route, which is operated by Boeing 777 aircraft. In addition, Emirates plans to upgrade its Narita-Dubai route with the flagship A380 from 15 November. arab trade news agency
