Emirates to offer ‘festive spirit’ throughout December

Emirates will host celebrations at check-in counters, international lounges and on board – ensuring the 1.4 million passengers booked to travel this December are in the good spirits.

Holiday greetings from Emirates lounges
Emirates lounges in Dubai are starting to look a lot like Christmas, with passengers taking off to greet family and friends for the holidays pausing to indulge in some festive treats before boarding. Warm mince pies topped with whipped cream, traditional stollen, soaked spiced fingers with whipped ganache with sweet Christmas sauce, roasted chestnuts and biscuit cake will be served in the Business Class lounge, served with Served with a lime and lemon salsa.

Passengers in First and Business Class can indulge in all the classic Christmas dishes, from lemon and herb marinated prawns with fennel salad and Marie Rose dressing, to cured salmon with mustard crème fraiche, also available in Premium Economy Class.

All three classes will serve a complete holiday main course with all the sides – roast turkey with cranberry compote, chestnut stuffing, pumpkin with honey and thyme, potato wedges and crunchy Brussels sprouts with turkey bacon. Desserts include a variety of delicacies Class passengers will also enjoy a more hearty Christmas dinner.

Passengers departing from Dubai can unwind with some savory mulled wine, mince pies, panettone, gingerbread ice cream and Christmas-themed pastries in the onboard A380 lounge filled with festive flowers.

From 24 to 26 December, Emirates cabin crew will be delivering mini treats to all passengers on board, including cinnamon cream puffs, chocolate truffles, gingerbread Christmas trees and snowmen.

At Emirates, every child is on the Nice List, where they will receive age-appropriate Emirates giveaways on board and the chance to stay with the family as the Emirates crew snaps a Polaroid to share at the festival Sweet Memories – Themed Keepsake Frames. For some sugar and spice, and all things good, the kids can also snuggle up to a Christmas movie, soft Emirates blankets and pillows, and creamy hot chocolate and marshmallows delivered straight to their seats – on all cabin classes middle.

Shop for Christmas gifts and give away some last-minute decorations, dress up for the holidays or shop for Christmas souvenirs at the Emirates Official Store, with the 2022 Christmas Collection featuring exclusive Emirates branded merchandise. Passengers can also use Skywards Miles to shop online.

Passengers can give back to the Emirates Foundation, an organization that works to improve the lives of underprivileged children – with a simple donation on board or at home. Passengers can donate in any currency on any flight using the envelope in their seat pocket, or by credit card, check or bank transfer.

The Foundation also accepts Skywards Miles in lieu of money, with 95% of donations going directly to help children living in extreme poverty and making a significant impact on their wellbeing in the areas of food, health, housing and education. – trade arab news agency
