Emirates to resume direct A380 service to Kuala Lumpur and Auckland

[ad_1]

Emirates said it will resume direct A380 services between Auckland and Kuala Lumpur from December 1.

The airline currently flies to both cities on a Boeing 777-300ER service, which stops in Kuala Lumpur before continuing to Auckland. The start of the A380 flight will decouple the two cities and provide direct services to and from Dubai.

The latest update to airline schedules will provide customers with a higher level of flexibility and much-needed seat availability. The new service will also provide more opportunities to travel through the Emirates network, reduce transit times following the decoupling of services, and speed up connections to and from Europe, the Middle East, South Asia and Africa.

In addition to being one of the longest non-stop scheduled commercial flights in the world, the non-stop route between Dubai and Auckland will regain its title as the longest route in the Emirates network at 14,200km.

Emirates EK448 direct flight from Dubai to Auckland took off at 10:05 and arrived at 11:05 the next day. The return flight departs Auckland at 21:15 and arrives in Dubai at 05:25 the next day. All times are local time.

Emirates A380 to Kuala Lumpur, EK 346 will take off from Dubai at 0330 hours and land at 1435 hours. The EK 343 will depart Kuala Lumpur at 0145 hours and arrive in Dubai at 0505 hours.

The reintroduction of the airline’s flagship A380 to Auckland and Kuala Lumpur will provide more choice for travellers looking to explore these exciting destinations and offer travellers the opportunity to experience the A380’s signature products and services in all classes.

New Zealand is raising its profile with global events in key markets to encourage more tourists to come and relive the country’s incredible experiences and stunning natural attractions.

To promote Malaysia as a unique tourism destination, Emirates recently signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC) with Tourism Malaysia to develop the flow of inbound tourists into the country from key markets in the airline’s network.

The airline is accelerating the deployment of its flagship A380 aircraft to meet the growing demand for air travel around the world, with 32 destinations currently on schedule and more to be announced in the coming weeks and months. – arab trade news agency
