Abu Dhabi: The famous Stanford University in the United States has chosen the UAE academic professor Badria Al-Junaibi, among the 2% of the world’s best scientists list, Emirates News Agency (WAM) reports.
In the media category, Al-Junaibi was selected from more than 160,000 researchers selected from more than 8 million scientists worldwide who are considered active.
Professor Badria Al-Junaibi is a Professor at the Department of Creative Industries at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Emirates University.
Al-Junaibi holds a BA in Journalism, summa cum laude, from the University of the United Arab Emirates, and an MS and PhD, cum laude, in Public Relations and Social Media from the United States, where he was honored in 2004.
Al-Junaibi was quoted by the Arab daily Al-Emarat Al-Youm as saying she had “authored 78 scientific papers in scientific journals in many countries, including the US, Canada and the UK, published in the Journal of Media Studies and Applied Journalism. ”, explaining that she “is on the editorial boards of 18 referenced scientific journals”.
Al-Junaibi has received more than 33 local and international awards in the fields of advancement, scientific publishing, teaching and community service, including the Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation Award for Arab researchers at the 38th session in 2020, and the Hamdan bin Rashid Al 2017 The Maktoum Distinguished Teacher Award.
In addition to providing seminars on modern teaching techniques and methods, she has taught many different subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate students and has mentored postgraduate students.
Stanford’s list of American scientists includes 22 scientific fields and 176 subfields from countries around the world.
