Private aviation specialist Empire Aviation Group, which provides aircraft, has signed an agreement with the Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Center (MBRAH) in South Dubai to develop a new multi-purpose business aviation facility.
A statement from Empire Aviation said the hub would be built on a plot adjacent to the VIP terminal.
The agreement was signed by Tahnoon Saif, CEO of Mohammed bin Rashid Aerospace Hub, and Paras P Dhamecha, Founder and Managing Director of Empire Aviation Group, at a ceremony hosted by MEBAA, where Empire Aviation celebrated its 15th anniversary.
The facility will be owned, managed and operated by Empire Aviation, which will provide 100% of the investment, with work commencing in early 2023 and expected to be completed by the end of 2024.
The mixed-use facility will include Imperial Aviation Group’s new global corporate headquarters, as well as operational control and CAMO for all group operations, crew check-in and briefing areas. The facility will also provide airline and related companies with premium office space, luxury retail and food outlets, and a rooftop lounge for entertainment and events.
Speaking at the signing ceremony, Paras P Dhamecha said: “Empire Aviation has been focused on business aviation since 2007 with a mission to increase the corporate use of private jets for business travel and we have grown into a truly global business. There is no doubt , we benefit from operating in Dubai and its world-class reputation, facilities and regulators.
“We are therefore delighted to sign an agreement for a new business aviation facility at MBRAH, with the aim of adding a new location for diverse companies. The facility will meet the ultra-high quality standards expected from Dubai and supports MBRAH’s vision to make Dubai the Aviation Capital of the World Vision.”
Tahnoon Saif said: “We are delighted to sign this agreement with Empire Aviation Group, a well-known company in the industry providing integrated private aviation services to clients. Our mission to benefit from our ecosystem to connect global markets. We look forward to working closely with Empire Aviation Group and assisting them with all their business needs.”
Since launching in Dubai in 2007, Empire Aviation has expanded globally and now holds an AOC (Airline Operator Certificate) or equivalent in three countries. In 2021, the company was appointed by Gulfstream as an international sales representative for India. – trade arab news agency
