Energy efficiency company Zenatix, part of the Hero Group, announced that it has expanded its presence in the UAE and the Middle East to provide organizations with powerful cloud-based energy and asset management solutions.

The company’s announcement coincides with key initiatives announced by the Dubai government and businesses based on climate protection and sustainability. The move also coincides with upcoming events in the UAE such as the United Nations Climate Change Conference 2023 (COP28) and the Dubai Clean Energy Strategy 2050.

The Middle East building automation systems market1 is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.4% during 2020-2026 and is gaining momentum owing to surging construction activities and increasing focus on energy efficiency. This will require sustainable measures by different stakeholders to achieve a future that is good for the environment and supported by the Dubai government.

According to the company, small and medium-sized infrastructures, especially those with multiple sites, lack automation and thus face energy inefficiencies and equipment maintenance challenges. With Zenatix’s IoT-driven automation solutions, commercial buildings in industries such as hotels, restaurants, retail, supermarkets, warehouses, and more can automate control and real-time visibility into their operations, helping them reduce energy consumption, alerting them to any anomalies, and improving Operational compliance and facilitate remote asset management.

Rahul Bhalla, CEO and co-founder of Zenatix, said: “While the large construction market is served by traditional building management systems, automation of small and medium-sized buildings is a global gap.”
