The only thing better than regular brunch is when you can enjoy two in one, which is exactly what you get at Tipsy Lion throughout August. This English pub is a carefree and fun home with pool tables, table football and “drinking table tennis”.
As the name “Great British Brunch” implies, you can look forward to an all-English feast on Friday. The menu has appetizers such as star shrimp, chicken tikka and vegan “buffalo” wings. For the main course, there is a platter of plant-based sliders, fish and chips, and butter chicken pie. Desserts include sticky toffee pudding and crumbled apples.

Brunch is from 1pm to 5pm, with free-flowing beverages including wine, beer, spirits and cocktails. Soft drinks are priced at 279 dirhams, homemade drinks are priced at 349 dirhams, and sparkling drinks are priced at 399 dirhams. Remember, it’s basically half the price of a two-in-one, so your maximum spend will not exceed Dh200.
Without live music, no British pub would be the same. You will hear some hits from The Boxtones and Tipsy Lion’s resident DJ. Bar games and other entertainment will take place throughout the day, so make sure you participate. Happy hour also lasts from 5pm to 8pm.
The details here reflect homage to the British style, with the walls made of wood panelling and exposed bricks. Pop art cushions are scattered on the huge comfortable sofa, creating a comfortable and warm atmosphere. There is also a spacious open terrace for you to relax.
