ENOC Group organized a webinar to celebrate UAE Women’s Day in the presence of HE Dr. Farida Al Hosani, Executive Director of the Department of Infectious Diseases of the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center and Official Spokesperson of the UAE Health Department, and Aisha Saeed Harib, Head of the UAE Health Department Corporate Social Responsibility of the Community Development Bureau.
The webinar celebrated the theme of this year’s UAE Women’s Day-“Women: Ambition and Inspiration for the Next 50 Years”. UAE Women’s Day 2021 aims to demonstrate the boundless ambitions of Emirati women and their desire for a better and more prosperous future, and to pay tribute to the leadership’s support for women’s empowerment.
His Excellency Saif Humaid Al Falasi, CEO of ENOC Group, said: “The UAE is one of the leading countries in the Middle East and North Africa in achieving and promoting gender equality. Women play a vital role in building the community, economy and future of our county. Role… On the occasion of celebrating UAE Women’s Day, we thank visionary leaders for empowering women and strengthening their participation in all sectors. The ENOC Group established a Women’s Committee to empower women within the group and encourage them to participate in various internal and external platforms of the organization. The group also organizes national and international training and skill development programs for UAE women, aiming to train women leaders in the energy sector. This includes an agreement with Al Maktoum College of Higher Education for a four-week multicultural leadership academic program at Dundee Scottish Summer School.
The ENOC Group launched the first “Energy Women Award” to recognize the achievements of women who have demonstrated outstanding leadership skills and promoted positive change.
