BAXTER — Sertoma Winter Wonderland returns for Season 16 of its magical Christmas event, Wednesday-Saturday, December 28, 5:30-8:30 pm.
Presented by the Brainerd Noon Sertoma Club and four non-profit partners, the event is 100% driven by volunteers, with all proceeds benefiting the non-profit partners and the community.
Premium tickets are $10 per vehicle and are available at Northland Arboretum, Baxter and Brainerd’s Cub Foods, Baxter’s Super One Foods and Pequot Lakes’ SuperValu. Tickets can also be purchased at the door for $20 per vehicle (cash or check only).

Hit the road with fans of the Lake District Music Festival
MINNEAPOLIS – Fans of the Lake District Music Festival can take part in the group’s first road trip to Orchestra Hall in Minneapolis on Jan. 5 at 11 a.m. to hear Ryan Bancroft (Ryan Bancroft) conducting the Minnesota Orchestra.
The program will feature Sergei Rachmaninoff’s “Piano Concerto No. 3” with soloist Kirill Gerstein. The humble Mussorgsky’s “Pictures in Exhibition” will open with Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s “Major Prelude.”
Following the show, participants will head to The Local for lunch with Lakeland Festival musicians from the Minnesota Orchestra.
Those traveling from Brainerd to Minneapolis will enjoy long-distance bus transportation, leaving Brainerd at 7:30 am and returning around 5 pm; round-trip service costs $95, or join others at Orchestra Hall The fee is $55 without transportation from Brainerd to and from Minneapolis.
