Tahoe Truckee Earth Day Festival in Palisades Tahoe
Head to the Village of Palisades Tahoe on Saturday, April 15th from 11am to 5pm for the Tahoe Truckee Earth Day Festival.
One of the largest Earth Day celebrations in the region, this free event gives kids and adults the chance to learn more about recycling, composting, alternative energy and sustainability through hands-on activities for the whole family.
The Village will showcase educational booths throughout the day and the festivities begin with a performance by Glenn County Primary 4th and 5th grade students at the Eagle Chorus on the First Street Stage.
The day continues with a live performance of Red Dirt Ruckus on the Event Plaza Stage until 1:30pm, followed by Asha World Dancers.
Trashion Show starts at 2:15pm and ends the day with Peter Joseph Burtt & The Kingside from 3:30pm
There will be battery recycling stations on-site where guests can bring in old lithium-ion batteries and cell phones, laptops, tablets, power tools, and any other device with a lithium-ion battery for recycling.
Additionally, students from the Truckee Unified School District created a brand new Climate Streaks exhibit with help from Mountain Forge, Forest Charter, Palisades Tahoe and Citizens Climate Lobby, which will be on display throughout the event.

Truckee Tahoe Community Choir at North Tahoe Events Center
The Truckee-Tahoe Community Choir and Diablo Valley College Philharmonic will perform “Sinners and Saints” at the North Tahoe Events Center in Kings Beach on Saturday, April 15 at 7pm and Sunday, April 16 at 2pm. song of”.
The concert will explore concepts of innate human sin, virtue and redemption, including serious and tongue-in-cheek stories about shame, guilt, deceit, lust, jealousy and gluttony, alongside stories of loyalty, forgiveness, hope and more. Balanced, revered and saintly.
Tickets to this event are $20 for adults and $5 for children 18 and under.

Spring Tracks Concert at KT Base Bar
KT Base in Palisades Tahoe will host a Spring Tracks concert for a fee on Saturday, April 15th from 12:30pm to 5pm featuring Dispatch’s Chadwick Stokes .
The free show will kick off with Broken Compass at 12:30pm, then Chadwick Stokes will take the stage at 4pm
This free program is provided by Ikon and Bose.
An accomplished musician and songwriter, Stokes grew up on a small farm outside of Boston and has dedicated his life to raising awareness of global crises through his nonprofit work.
