With the onset of spring, entertainment flourishes on the North Olympic Peninsula.
which includes a three-day virtual Home and Kitchen Tourthe 25th annual event, hosted by AAUW/UWF of Jefferson County, begins today.
Leslie Roubal of the University Women’s Association/University Women’s Foundation said people across the country could see it. Weekends are $30 per guest. Register at AAUWPT.org.
A virtual tour showcases homes that are inaccessible to the public. The tour also includes workshops, discussions with homeowners and information from designer/builders, Roubal said.
Also running three days this weekend is “REDD,” continues today and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 1:30 pm at the Key City Playhouse, 419 Washington Street, Port Townsend. Tickets are available at www.keycitypublictheatre.org.
•bunker, A free art space for teens will begin today from 3:45 to 6:45 pm at the Northwind School of the Arts, Building 306, in Fort Worden State Park.
Middle and high school students require a parental consent form, which is available online at the Bunker page by going to https://northwindart.org and clicking on “Courses” and then “Youth.”
The Bunker will be open on several Fridays each month throughout the spring and summer; after this Friday, the next three are scheduled for May 5th, May 26th and June 9th.
• Studio360 Dance Company Tonight at 7:30 p.m. at the Fernburton Community Center, 308 E. Fourth St., Port Angeles, a 30-minute ballet commentary from “Peter and the Wolf” and local dancers ages 12 to 17 .
Suggested $10 cash or check donation for admission. Proceeds will go to Womanfest (https://www.womanfest.org), a 40-year-old charity based in Port Angeles.
• Soprano soloist Mary DiRoberts will perform at the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church tonight at 7pm.
The concert is hosted by the church at 301 E Lopez in Port Angeles and is free and open to the public, but donations are welcome. All donations will go to support the Holy Trinity Concert Series.
DiRoberts will be accompanied by local keyboardist and composer Noah Smith.
• Nathaniel Talbot Trio Tonight at The Palindrome at 7:30.
The Palindrome is located at Eaglemount Cidery in Port Townsend, 1893 S. Jacob Miller Road. Tickets are $20 each online at https://www.ticketstorm.com/e/27662/t/ and $25 on-site.
Talbot will be joined by bassist Keegan Harshman and drummer Mickey Grimm for this Port Townsend gig.

• Bird watching excursions Led by Beverly McNeil, the game starts at 9 a.m. Saturday. A monthly walking tour is held on the fourth Saturday of every month at Fort Flagler State Park, 10541 Flagler Road. Hiking tours may be canceled due to inclement weather. McNeil is a photographer and tour leader for the Admiralty Audubon Society.
• Art Demo: Wirewrapping will be presented by Kathy Schreiner on Saturdays from 1pm to 3pm.
A free demo of “The Art of Winding” will be on view at the Blue Whole Gallery at 129 W. Washington St.
Schreiner was a jeweler who specialized in cutting and polishing cabochons, wire winding, and metalworking.

• Sequim Botanic Garden Association’s work-study party is scheduled for Saturday at 1pm.
At the Terrace Garden in Carrie Blake Community Park, 202 N. Blake Ave., John Hassel will demonstrate how to plant dahlia tubers and Mary Crook will lead a tour of the garden’s daffodils, daffodils, hyacinths and tulips. The presentation is free and open to the public.

• Artist talkSaturday night at 7 p.m., the Jefferson Museum of Art and History at 540 Water St. will feature works by Port Townsend-based artists David Eisenhour, Joan Jonland and Stephen Yates.
The speaker currently has an exhibit at the museum. Both Jonland and Yates contributed to “Landscapes: Reality and Imagination,” on view August 6, and Eisenhour’s exhibition “Under Water Street,” on view through July 30.
The suggested contribution to the program is $10.
