Over the next few weeks, 1960s classics will entertain local and regional venues.
Now in its 14th year, the Happy Together Tour returns to Pennsylvania Hilltops with bands like The Turtles, Little Anthony and Gary Puckett, and The Union Gap. Los Lobos, America, Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters will also perform at the summit.
Meanwhile, the Mauch Chunk Opera House will host shows that pay homage to Stevie Wonder, Prince and 1980s glam rock. In Lehigh Valley, Heart’s Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Nancy Wilson will perform at Bethlehem’s Wind Creek Events Center.

• Los Lobos, June 9th at 8pm. The Chicano rock band formed in East Los Angeles in 1973 and released their 17th studio album, “Native Sons,” in 2021. Los Lobos with their 1987 cover of Ritchie Valens’ “La Bamba.”
• Happy Together Tour, June 15th at 8pm. The lineup of hit producers of the late 1950s and late 1960s included: The Turtles (“Happy Together”) with Ron Dante (“Sugar, Sugar” for the Archies), Little Anthony (“Tears on My Pillow”), Gary Puckett and The Union Gap (“Young Girl”), The Vogues (“You’re The One”), Classics IV (“Spooky”) and The Cowsills (“Hair”).
• USA, June 16 at 8 pm. The pop rock band formed in London in 1970 with founding members Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell. America has released 18 studio albums, including such hits as “The Horse With No Name,” “Sister Golden Retriever” and “Ventura Highway.”
• Billy Bob Thornton and The Boxmasters, June 22, 8 pm. Born in Hot Springs, Arkansas – also a filmmaker and actor – Thornton co-founded The Boxmasters with JD Andrew in Bellflower, California in 2007. The rock band released their 13th studio album, “’69,” in May.

• The British Invasion Years, June 9 at 8pm. A 1960s tribute band played songs by British and American bands, with the Beatles closing out the show.
• Hunkajunk, June 10 at 8pm. Hunkajunk, founded in 2015 and based in northeastern Pennsylvania, will release Wonderbred, a tribute to Stevie Wonder. The show will also feature vintage and modern hits, as well as original jams.
• The Ocrops, June 15 at 7:30 pm. Hailing from northern New Jersey, the band performs raw blues-rock. Formed in 2016, The Outcrops’ discography includes 2019’s “Peace of Mind” album and 2022’s EP “Live Extended Play”.
• Mullett, June 16 at 8pm. The Tribute Band has performed for over a decade, playing music from the glam band era of the 1980s.
• Dean Ford and the Beautiful Ones, June 17 at 8 pm. In 2012, Ford and his musician friends held their first Prince tribute in Portland, Maine. Named after a 1984 Prince track, the group played the “Purple Rain” album and other Prince classics.
• The Hypochondriacs, June 22 at 7:30 pm. Formed in New Brunswick, Canada in 2015, the band’s music includes elements of 1960s doo-wop and 1970s folk-rock. The Hypochondriacs will release their second full length album, Waitin’, in 2022.

• Gypsy: The Real Stevie Nicks Experience June 10 at 7pm. Named after the 1982 Fleetwood Mac song of the same name, the band uses the Mac to play songs from Nicks’ solo catalog.
• Damn the Torpedoes, June 17 at 7pm. The group performed music by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, named after the latter’s 1979 album of the same name.

• Ecospheres, June 16 at 7pm. Kyle O’Brien and Josh Martonyak lead the five-piece jazz/rock/funk fusion band based in Jim Thorpe. The group included such entertainers as Herbie Hancock, Billy Cobham and Jeff Beck.

• “The Room,” June 11 at 6 pm. The theater will screen Tommy Wiseau’s 1993 play “The Room,” featuring co-star and “The Disaster Artist” author Greg Sestero. The film follows the love triangle between Johnny (Wiseau), his fiancée and his best friend Mark (Sestero).
• Haunted House Party, June 16th & 17th at 6pm. Grady Hendrix, author of “How to Sell a Haunted House” and “My Best Friend’s Exorcism,” will host the event. Films include “Burnt Offerings” in 1976, “The Changeling” in 1980 and “Poltergeist” in 1982.

• Lance Burton: Master Magician & Friends, June 9 at 8 pm. Born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, Burton has been headlining Las Vegas for three decades. His new show features fantasy, sleight of hand and audience participation.
• Matt Rife, June 11 at 5pm and 8pm. Rife, of Columbus, Ohio, started doing stand-up comedy at the age of 15. In 2021, he self-produced his first comedy special, “Only Fans.”
• The Used and Pierce the Veil, June 15 at 6:30 pm. Formed in Orem, Utah in 2000, the rock band released their ninth studio album “Toxic Positivity” in May. Formed in San Diego in 2006, Pierce the Veil released their fourth studio album, The Jaws of Life, in February.
• Pride Under the Big Top, June 17 at 8 p.m. Out in the Valley will host a circus-themed event featuring roving artists, stilts, DJs, dancing and cocktails.
• Nancy Wilson’s Heart, June 18 at 8 pm. Born in San Francisco, Wilson released 16 studio albums as a member of the rock band Heart with his sister Ann. The latter formed in Seattle in the 1970s, scoring hits such as “Crazy on You,” “Barracuda” and “These Dreams.” In 2021, the singer-songwriter/guitarist released a solo album, You and Me.

• Christopher Cross and Justin Hayward, June 13 at 7pm. Born in San Antonio, Cross wrote early ’80s hits such as “Sailing” and “Arthur’s Theme (Do What You Can).” Hayward was an English singer-songwriter/guitarist who recorded 16 studio albums with The Moody Blues, including 1972’s A Night in White Satin and 1986’s “Your Wildest Dreams” and other hits.

• Lucky Moon Zooz, June 9 at 8 p.m. The horn band was made up of New York City’s Too Many Zooz, Moon Hooch and Lucky Chops.
• Brian Regan, June 16 at 8 pm. Born in Miami, the comedian began his stand-up career in the 1980s. Since 2017, Reagan has played “Mugsy” in the TV series “Big Tits”.
