Etihad Airways, the national airline of the United Arab Emirates, today launched the third phase of its Golden Jubilee celebrations. In a series of videos to be launched in the next three weeks, Etihad will bring together Formula One, music and fashion experts from all over the world, as well as their UAE counterparts in the UAE.
In the release video, Amna Al Qubaisi, the first female racing driver in the UAE, demonstrated Abu Dhabi’s qualifications as a world-class racing destination. Al Qubaisi is the daughter of UAE endurance racer Khaled Al Qubaisi. She has participated in professional Formula 3 competitions at the age of only 21, mainly participating in the F3 Asian Championship.
Etihad Airways teamed up with Amna Al Qubaisi to host the British motorsport expert @seenthroughglass YouTuber Sam Fane at Yas Marina Circuit. Fane has been a well-known figure on YouTube since 2014, producing car content about road trips, test drives, and interviews. His popular channel has accumulated loyal followers, reaching approximately 5 million viewers worldwide through his platform every month.
In the video, Fane took a Boeing 787 Dreamliner from London Heathrow Airport to Abu Dhabi, enjoying the comfort of an Etihad business class. Upon arrival, he met his mysterious host Al Qubaisi, who challenged him to compete in Formula One racing around the Yas Marina Circuit.

In this video, we are eager to give the world a glimpse of the bustling racing circuit, especially as we prepare to host this year’s Formula One Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Awards next year. The month of the match,” said Amina Taher, Vice President of Branding, Marketing and Sponsorship, Etihad Airways. “With the rapid relaxation of travel restrictions, we are also happy to indicate that the UAE welcomes tourists.
