The Abu Dhabi-based airline said it is working closely with affected guests to notify them of changes in itineraries.
In the latest update on its website, the Emirates National Airlines stated that Etihad Airways has suspended flights to and from Saudi Arabia until further notice.
Etihad Airways also announced the cancellation of flights between the UAE and Saudi Arabia before at least August 10.

“According to the latest instructions issued by the Saudi Arabian government, passenger travel between the UAE and Saudi Arabia has been suspended until further notice. Due to these changes, Etihad Airways has cancelled flights between Abu Dhabi and Saudi Arabia until 2021. August 10, 2016,” it said, adding that due to changing circumstances, this date may be extended in accordance with government regulations.
The Abu Dhabi-based airline said it is working closely with affected guests to notify them of changes in itineraries. It is recommended that passengers who purchase tickets through a travel agency contact the travel agency where they purchased the ticket for help.
Saudi Arabia earlier announced that from August 1, 2021, it will allow fully vaccinated travelers from foreign countries.
