Etihad Engineering returns A380 to service

Etihad Engineering completes six-year maintenance on A380, preparing it for return to service. The state-of-the-art MRO facility in Abu Dhabi performed cabin removal, inspection, and installation, featuring The Residence, First Apartments, Business Studios, and Economy Smart Seats.

The comprehensive check included various modifications and servicing, done collaboratively with Etihad, Airbus, and suppliers.

The facility’s expertise on the A380 platform is well-established, having handled complex projects worldwide.

The first A380 is ready to return to the skies, and work has begun on the next phase at the expansive facility near International Airport in Abu Dhabi, the largest MRO facility in the Middle East.
