Etihad Airways plans to boost air links between the UAE and China next year, starting with adding a weekly flight on its Abu Dhabi-Shanghai route.
Subject to regulatory approval, the airline will operate twice-weekly flights to Pudong International Airport (PVG) using modern Boeing 787 and 777 aircraft from February 2023.
Combined with one weekly flight to Beijing and two weekly flights to Guangzhou, this will provide travelers with five direct flights per week between Abu Dhabi and China.
