New Collaboration Marks Largest Deal for New Locations with New North American Partners in IMAX in Decade
LAS VEGAS – APRIL 26, 2023 – EVO Entertainment Group (EVO) and IMAX Corporation (NYSE: IMAX) have announced an exciting new partnership, agreeing to install eight new state-of-the-art IMAX® laser systems. This marks the first collaboration between the two companies. As part of the agreement, EVO will bring a new IMAX system to Texas (including Houston and Austin) and Florida. The new system is expected to start operating in the third quarter of 2023.
IMAX’s latest agreement with EVO Entertainment Group represents the company’s most significant expansion into new locations with new partners in North America since 2013. The announcement was made today at the annual CinemaCon 2023 exhibition conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

These locations will offer moviegoers an unparalleled cinematic experience, including IMAX with Laser, IMAX’s most advanced theater technology.
