Listen to classical music at Alliance Française Dubai

The new season of UAE Classical Talents of the Dubai Francophone League will start on September 17. The daring and delightful musical series returns this season, as the popular demand kicked off with the “Wind Journey”. Three performers-Aldo Dotto (pianist), Carlos Teixeira (flute player) and Andrii Opanashchuk (clarineist player) will take us to the most beautiful page of the French repertoire. This includes the piano, the oldest wind instrument in history, the flute and one of the newest instruments-the clarinet. Tickets are 150 dirhams per person.

Tour Cairo through this illustrated exhibition

Where: Tashkeel Nad Al Sheba 1
This solo exhibition by Egyptian visual artist Nora Zeid is an ode to the often overlooked intricacies of her hometown, portrayed through figures and hand-drawn illustrations. Black and white illustrations explore the prosperous Egyptian cities around themes such as memory, tourism and infrastructure. There will be visits and seminars led by artists throughout the month. This weekend, the tour time will be at 10 am, 11 am and 12 pm on Saturday, September 28.

The artworks on display here by Jordanian visual artist Khaldoun Hijazin reveal the complex networks of control and manipulation that make up our existence.
