Expo 2020 Dubai: AR Rahman’s Firdaus Orchestra provides powerful performances-News

The concert marked the end of Space Week.

The Expo 2020 Space Week ended on Saturday night, and an extraordinary musical experience marked the Phil Daus Orchestra, led by the Academy and Grammy award-winning music composer AR Rahman, took the audience to another level.

True to the theme, the stage is illuminated by the visual effects of the space-celestial bodies orbiting the outside world-in the background.

The groundbreaking all-female ensemble Rahman has performed a mix of modern and classic works for a large audience for more than a year, including one of his original works. The performance marks the end of Space Week-this is one of the thematic weeks of the Man and Earth Program of Expo 2020.

The concert that started after 7pm saw Rahman’s enthusiastic fans line up in the Jubilee Park from the evening to see the music legend’s demeanor.

When the well-known Mozart of Madras came out to introduce the orchestra, the ecstatic audience burst into applause.

“I want to thank the Expo for giving me this opportunity to complete this project,” Rahman said, and he thanked everyone who supported him during his journey to Fieldus.

The concert is titled A Space Odyssey-Zarathustra Followed by the theme music of Bollywood blockbusters Mumbai, A popular work by the master.

The one-hour performance also witnessed the music played by an orchestra led by conductor Yasmina Sabbah Star wars with with – A sort ofAdventures on Earth, Turkish March, Palladio by Carl Jenkins, And Beethoven’s The Fifth Symphony.

The highlight of the night was Rahman’s original works A Humanitas-Proorismós-Al Amal, He said that this is a work inspired by the exploration of stars, planets and space.

He said: Humanitas-Proorismós-Al Amal It is an ode to space explorers. I have been working hard to write it for the past three months; I have many ideas. For the first concert of the Phil Daus Orchestra, I wanted to do something for Space Week, so this is a 15-minute work inspired by the efforts of Eastern Space,” Rahman said.

“When you see planets and space, there is a kind of poetry and a deep spirituality. So how do Indian or Eastern sounds combine with Western orchestras or Middle Eastern instruments? This is the idea, this It’s an experiment. I hope people like it,” Rahman said in a media statement.
