With the launch of the long-awaited largest international event in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia, the Dubai Culture and Arts Bureau (Dubai Culture), as the official cultural supporter of the 2020 Expo, announced that it is ready to welcome all visitors to the exhibition and its participation in the entire emirate. Hala Badri, Director-General of Culture in Dubai, confirmed that Expo 2020 is an ideal platform for the authorities to introduce the city’s rich culture and creative economy to millions of tourists and residents. It will enrich their experience through various interactive events and activities, and strengthen Dubai’s position as a global cultural center, creative incubator, booming talent center and global creative economy capital.

According to the 2020-2026 strategic roadmap, the authorities are committed to making culture accessible to everyone through the history, heritage and cultural assets it manages in the emirate. The 2020 Dubai World Expo will be held from October 1, 2021 to March 1, 2022. It is the first international expo in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia to promote the UAE. It is expected that the exhibition will have more than 25 million visitors, which is of great benefit to the UAE and the region.
