Expo 2020 Dubai: India Pavilion showcases the country’s steps towards a 5T USD economy-News

A senior government official said that the India Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai will showcase India’s recovery in the post-new crown virus world and become a US$5 trillion economy.

BVR Subrahmanyam, Secretary of the Ministry of Industry and Commerce of the Government of India, stated that India’s extraordinary counterattack against Covid-19 and the country’s rise as a global business center have brought great opportunities to the world. This will be the primary theme of India’s participation in the 2020 Dubai Expo.

The India Pavilion will see participation from multiple states in India, and these states will showcase their culture, traditions and huge business opportunities with top corporate groups and public sector companies from India. A large number of government ministers, officials and celebrities will visit the India Pavilion during the six months of the 2020 World Expo, which will also host a number of cultural events.

“At the 2020 Dubai Expo, the India Pavilion is ready to showcase India’s emergence on the pillars of sustainability, opportunity and mobility-a country that is ready to lead the future of the world,” Subramaniam said.

As one of the largest pavilions at Expo 2020 Dubai, the Indian Pavilion will adopt an innovative dynamic facade composed of 600 independent colored blocks. It was developed as a mosaic of rotating panels that will depict different themes as they rotate around an axis. It represents the theme of “India on the Move” and is a unique combination of the country’s rich heritage and technological advancement.

As India celebrates the 75th anniversary of its independence, the India Pavilion will reflect the Amrut Mahocsaf celebrations initiated by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and will showcase the new India to the world through many events and cultural events. The entire four-layer structure is divided into two parts. These areas are identified based on 11 main themes-climate and biodiversity, space, urban and rural development, tolerance and inclusiveness, golden jubilee, knowledge and learning, travel and connectivity, global goals, health and well-being, food and agriculture, and Livelihood and water. The pavilion will also host and co-create leadership discussions, international trade conferences and seminars to explore opportunities for cooperation with other participating countries. Visitors will also have the opportunity to witness star-studded nights, multicultural performances, Indian festival celebrations and taste Indian cuisine.

The specially designed logo aims to provide a brand new global brand experience for India to participate in Expo 2020 Dubai. The round symbol of delegation, commitment, and the community that constitutes the core pillar of India; and symbolizes the continuity and evolving life cycle of one of the world’s most dynamic democracies and fastest-growing business centers. The logo design shows the chakras (wheels), reflecting the movement of strength, courage and progress. The color is taken from the Indian flag, saffron symbolizes strength and courage; white represents peace and truth; green represents fertility, growth and auspiciousness.
