“Our first batch of smart robots have been in Dubai and have successfully passed strict quality control,” Ali said.
He said that the value of service robots to daily life is getting higher and higher, and the robotics industry will pay more and more attention to accelerating the comprehensive integration of technical solutions to develop intelligent and customized service robots.
The robot deployed at the Expo was developed at the company’s China headquarters and shipped to Dubai. They will play various roles in the event, such as welcoming visitors, performing in special exhibitions and providing visitor assistance, as well as helping to provide food and beverage delivery and hospitality services.
“We believe that robots realized through artificial intelligence and Internet of Things technology will eventually provide basic services in future cities. Therefore, we will see robots and other intelligent hardware and artificial intelligence, 5G, big data, cloud computing and edge computing (a kind of The distributed computing paradigm, bringing computing and data storage closer to the data source) together become part of the future digital city infrastructure (data),” Ali said.
The group has signed a long-term lease with the 2020 district. The heritage area of the World Expo is known as the city of the future. It will play a role in the city’s digital applications, especially the application of AIoT solutions in hardware and software.
Terminus Technologies will set up a research and development center and its first headquarters outside of China in the 2020 area, and will play a leading role in the UAE’s process of advancing the innovation economy.
