“Our first batch of smart robots have been in Dubai and have successfully passed strict quality control,” Ali said.

The robot deployed at the Expo was developed at the company’s China headquarters and shipped to Dubai. >> Opti Robot
One of the intelligent robots, Opti, is a mascot robot, specially designed for the 2020 World Expo. It will perform the key task of interacting with tourists and entertaining tourists from all over the world.
The Opti is about 1 meter high and equipped with an 18-degree backward tilt angle, which makes it easy to interact with people. The robot can stand upright for nearly 24 hours, operate in a balanced and safe manner, and move freely in all directions.
The group dance performance of multiple Opti robots will become one of the entertainment highlights of Expo 2020.
>> Patrol robot
Patrol robots will protect and monitor the Expo site. The robot is equipped with a high-definition facial recognition camera, a real-time thermal imager and an SOS button. It will be on duty 24 hours a day to remind tourists to pay attention to safety measures such as social distancing.
