The colorful appearance of the pavilion attracted more than 8,000 visitors on the first day

The Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai crossed a milestone this week as it received more than 100,000 visitors in the first 18 days of the big event.

Since the opening of the Expo 2020 on October 1, 2021, the four-story pavilion is now one of the most visited pavilions.

The colorful appearance of the pavilion attracted more than 8,000 visitors on the first day, and by the first week of October, the number of visitors jumped to 55,000.

The response over the weekend was very good, with the total number of visitors reaching 120,000.

On October 19th, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, visited the Pakistan Pavilion.

So far, many politicians, social media influencers and entertainment stars have visited the pavilion.

Earlier, the President of Pakistan, Dr. Arif Alvi; Abdul Razzaq Dawood, Commercial and Investment Adviser to the Prime Minister of Pakistan; Senator Faisal Javid Khan; National Bank of Pakistan President Dr. Reza Baqir; Governor of Punjab Province Chowdhury Mohamed Sawar; Australian-Lebanese musician Kris Fade; Motivational speakers Haseeba Mohsin, Aunm Baqai and Sadaf Ather visited the pavilion.

The pavilion is rich in history and culture, divided into eight main spaces, where visitors can experience the country’s best-preserved hidden treasures, from vibrant handicrafts to tens of billions of trees and delicious food.

“Since the opening of Expo 2020, the response has been amazing. We are very pleased to announce that the pavilion has received more than 100,000 visitors in the first 18 days of October. Rizwan Tariq, Director of the Pakistan Pavilion Said that the museum attracted the attention of tourists by displaying the spaces and activities of “Hidden Treasures of Pakistan”.

Afroz Abro, marketing and planning curator of Pakistan Pavilion, said: “The pavilion hosted many cultural, information and business events throughout October to showcase the great potential and opportunities in tourism and other economic sectors.”

She added that the pavilion will also host various entertainment and business events during the six months of the 2020 World Expo.
