Expo 2020 Dubai: Tickets go on sale today-News

Tickets start at AED 95 per day and can reach up to AED 495 for the entire six-month season.

Before the six-month event opens on October 1, 2021, tickets for Expo 2020 Dubai will be on sale worldwide on Sunday.

It is divided into three levels. The price of a one-day ticket is 95 dirhams (26 US dollars); a multi-day ticket can be used for 30 consecutive days with unlimited entry, and the price is 195 dirhams (53 US dollars). The season ticket can be used throughout the Expo 2020 Unlimited entry during this period, the price is 495 dirhams (135 USD).

Tickets include access to all exhibition halls, events and live performances, providing unlimited opportunities to enjoy the vibrant, diverse and ever-changing entertainment programs of the Expo. There are up to 60 live events every day, from world-class music, dance and art to rich insights Strong speeches and colorful National Day celebrations.

Tickets will be sold online at expo2020dubai.com. They will also be available through more than 2,500 authorized ticket dealers from more than 100 markets around the world, including online travel agencies, tour operators, hotel groups and airlines.

Children under the age of 18 and students holding a valid student ID from any academic institution in the world will enter for free. Free tickets will be provided to determined people, and their companions can enjoy a 50% discount. Visitors aged 60 and above can also enter for free.

Covid-19 safety measures

In an earlier statement to Khaleej Times, Expo 2020 Dubai stated that visitors “currently do not need to provide a vaccination certificate to enter the Expo site.”

“However, vaccination is strongly encouraged, and vaccinated individuals still need to follow preventive measures, including wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and washing and disinfecting hands regularly,” it wrote.

Expo 2020 worked closely with the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Dubai Health Authority to implement a far-reaching preventive measures plan to ensure the safety of all visitors, participants and staff.

These include sanitation stations throughout the site, mandatory masks and social distancing regulations. Building on the successful vaccination plan in the UAE, Expo 2020 will also provide free Covid-19 vaccination for its employees and all official participants and their staff.
