Expo 2020 Dubai: Visitors must provide Covid-19 vaccine certificate or PCR test negative-News

The PCR test should be performed within the first 72 hours.

According to the latest safety agreement announced by the organizers on Wednesday, visitors to Expo 2020 Dubai who are 18 years of age and older must present a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test.

Visitors will be required to show proof of any vaccine approved by their national government or a negative PCR test conducted within the past 72 hours.

Unvaccinated ticket holders who have not been tested during this period can be tested at the PCR testing facility near the Expo 2020 site. Looking ahead, a network of test centers throughout the city will be available and can be found on the Expo 2020 website. Present any valid Expo 2020 tickets and one-day or multi-day passes to the Expo, and you can take the PCR test for free.

The Expo’s strong safety plan includes mandatory vaccination for all Expo and international exhibitors’ staff, volunteers, contractors and service providers. On-site disinfection stations, indoor and outdoor masks are mandatory, and a social distance of two meters is always maintained.

Reem Al Hashimy, Minister of State for International Cooperation in the UAE and Director General of Expo 2020 Dubai, said: “As we prepare to welcome UAE tourists and visitors to Expo 2020, we need to build on the success of the fight against Covid-19. In the past month, our cases have been reduced by nearly 84%. Our commitment to the health and safety of all visitors, participants and staff will remain our top priority.
