Expo 2020 Dubai: Win passes and cameras in the new RTA competition-News

The first phase of the competition will begin in October, and people will be encouraged to use public transportation as much as possible.

The Road and Traffic Authority (RTA) announced the launch of a photo contest to commemorate the opening of Expo 2020 Dubai. Participants have the opportunity to win cameras and passes to enter the greatest exhibition in the world.

In order to make it easier for the public to participate, the competition is divided into three stages.

The first phase will mark Public Transport Day and will start in October to encourage people to use public transport as their preferred mode of travel from their location to the Expo venues. The journey includes a ride on Dubai Metro Highway 2020 and Expo Riders.

The second phase of the competition will start in November. Participants will be asked to photograph the city landmarks and eye-catching places they encounter when they go to the Expo site. The focus of this phase is the completed road network, overpasses and service roads.

The third phase will start in January, marking the final stage of the photo contest. The focus is on tourist attractions that are open to tourists, where tourists can take a cultural tour, taste and visit squares and world-class shopping malls.

Several social media influencers will participate in the competition. Through their social media accounts, they will announce each stage of the competition.

The event will be launched through social media channels to promote the Expo and encourage the public to use public transportation as much as possible.

Starting on October 1, 2021, this large-scale event will last for six months, attracting millions of tourists from all over the world.

The competition was initiated in cooperation with Canon Middle East and Keolis-Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Participants can also play the submitted content through the @canonme and @rta_dubai accounts.
