Expo 2020 Food Review: Alkebulan

[ad_1]

What to eat in the world’s first African restaurant…

In a city full of foodies’ choices, Alkebulan boldly claims to be the world’s first African food hall. There must be an unknown sense of water here, because the impressive two-story building of the Expo 2020 has 10 chef-led concepts and two additional bars, showcasing the most diverse cuisine of the entire continent.

There is also a real sense of urgency-if you don’t go to Alkebulan during the Expo season, it will disappear from Dubai forever, and you will have no chance. After spending as many attempts as possible in an extraordinary afternoon, our stomachs can handle it- what a shame.

Carefully selected by the restaurant owner Alexander Smalls, who is an opera singer, each chef plays his role in re-education of the African experience of the world under the same roof through a series of customized concepts. These top chefs include Kiran Jethwa and Coco Reinhertz.

Of course, the geographic location of Africa is easy to determine, but its cuisine is another matter. Because of the integration of so many cultures, this continent provides delicious and diverse food, some of which are seafood, some are vegetarian, and some are meat, and they are very delicious.

Here are some of our favorite dishes
