The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will host the 2020 Dubai Expo next month. The official opening ceremony will be held on October 1.
The UAE Ambassador to India, Dr. Ahmed Albana, mentioned the Expo 2020 that the success of any event is based on two things. One is business participation showing different aspects, and the other is the number of visitors.
“So on these two levels, I think we are on the right track,” he added.
Albana said that the 2020 World Expo will open on October 1, 2021 and close on March 31, 2022, which coincides with the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the UAE in 2021, which marks an important milestone for the UAE.
The event was originally scheduled to be held from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021.
He said that the theme of this World Expo is “Match of Heart, Create the Future Together”.The theme of the Expo is to connect the world together. It can promote the exchange of new ideas and stimulate action, and provide real-life solutions to real-world challenges, according to the special envoy.
“At Expo 2020 Dubai, we hope to involve people in this journey, play a role in inspiring the next generation, and jointly inspire innovation to lay the foundation for human progress in the next 50 years. This event will help achieve the UAE’s The 2071 Centennial Plan supports the development of tourism, stimulates the development of innovative businesses in the UAE, and enhances the country’s international reputation as a business location,” Albana said.
The ambassador said that more than 200 participants including countries, multilateral organizations, educational institutions and companies, as well as millions of tourists, will gather to celebrate the 2020 Dubai World Expo.
