Ezra Miller and Ben Kingsley star as artist Salvador Dali in the first trailer for the upcoming biopic, Dali Paradise.
The film directed by Mary Harlan (american psycho) opens on Thursday, June 9, ahead of theaters and on-demand. Magnolia Pictures acquired the rights to the film after it premiered at the Toronto Film Festival in September.
Dali Paradise Follow newcomer Christopher Briney, a gallery assistant who is tasked with helping Dali (Kingsley) prepare for a major exhibition in the ’70s, when he and his wife Gala (Barbara Sukovar) Relations are tense. Miller plays a younger version of the surrealist painter, and appears in flashback scenes in the film.
“Death—it scares me, it’s the basis of my inspiration,” Kingsley said in an emotional moment on camera.
Rupert Graves, Andrea Pejic and Suki Waterhouse also appear in the film, written by John C. Walsh. The producers are Daniel Brunt, Chris Curling, Edward R. Pressman, Sam Pressman and David O. Sacks.
Miller, who uses the they/them pronoun, is a Warner Bros. star.highly anticipated superhero movies flashscheduled for release on June 16.
