Barbados is second in the FIA Formula 3 standings this season in his rookie season Tridentjust five points behind champion Victor Martins.
He finished the season with three consecutive featured races at Spa, Zandvoort and Monza, and a total of four podiums and two pole positions throughout the season.
This 19-year-old will fight alongside you Richard Forshur The Italian team competed in the F2 season finale at Yas Marina Circuit and made their championship debut in the process.
Team manager Giacomo Ricci said: “We are proud to compete with Zane Maloney in the final race of the FIA Formula 2 Championship.
“Barbados driver Zane closed out the Formula 3 Championship with three consecutive race victories and proved to be second to none in terms of competitiveness, nearly winning the Drivers’ Championship.
“We are therefore delighted to have Zane on board again this year and we are confident that Trident will be able to provide him with the utmost support and dedication to the challenging Yas Marina Circuit.”

Maloney’s F3 debut season follows a successful 2021 European Formula Regional Championship where he finished fourth in the R-ace GP.
Williams announced his departure from the team last month, deciding not to race the final round as he focuses on the future of motorsport.
The 22-year-old rookie has had a disappointing F2 season and currently sits 23rd with just five points.
After the announcement, Williams said: “Throughout the season, I know I’ve shown what I can do at the Formula 2 level.
“Jedda was a good result and I’m very happy with the many races I played in my rookie season, often finishing outside of the points or having misfortune when running inside the scoring position.
“However, these things can happen in games and as the season goes on, it’s not going the way I thought it would be.
“We’re at an important moment now, and I’m considering what’s the best avenue I’m pursuing in order to further my continued career in motorsport.”
