Ray-Ban Stories is a new series of Ray-Ban smart glasses, which allows users to capture videos and photos and post them online, answer calls and listen to music. Ray-Ban Stories is priced at US$299 and includes dual 5-megapixel cameras, speakers on each temple of the glasses (which can also double as open-air headphones), photo/video shooting buttons, touchpad, power button and three microphones. Smart glasses are compatible with Facebook Assistant, which gives users the opportunity to capture moments through voice commands while letting anyone around them know what they are doing. Ray-Ban Stories will also allow users to share their captured content to various applications, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Snapchat, etc. At the same time, Bluetooth technology capabilities make listening to music and making phone calls a seamless process.
In addition to smart glasses, there are also portable charging cases and three different styles of glasses, Wayfarer, Meteor and Round. They are only a few grams heavier than a pair of traditional Ray-Ban Wayfarers.
Speaking of the release of new products, Facebook’s Reality Labs product director said. “Many of our experiences make us choose to either live in the present and enjoy it, or remember that moment and keep in touch with others.
