A few days ago, the social media giant caused a power outage for 6 hours due to an error in the routine maintenance process
Facebook Inc confirmed on Friday that some users have encountered problems accessing its applications and services. A few days ago, the social media giant caused a 6-hour outage due to an error in the daily maintenance of its data center network.
Some users cannot load their Instagram feeds, while other users cannot send messages on Facebook Messenger.
“We know that some people are having problems accessing our apps and products. We are working hard to get things back to normal as soon as possible, and we apologize for any inconvenience caused to you,” Facebook said in a tweet.

People quickly shared the meme on Twitter about the second Instagram outage this week.
The network monitoring organization Downdetector revealed that more than 36,000 people reported problems with the photo-sharing platform Instagram on Friday. Facebook’s messaging platform also reported more than 800 issues.
Downdetector only tracks outages by collating status reports from a range of sources, including errors submitted by users on its platform. The outage may have affected more users.
Monday’s outage was the largest Downdetector ever and prevented billions of users of Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp from accessing the app.
