Van-Dells will perform again at this year’s Fulton County Fair.

The Fulton County Fair is almost here. It starts on Friday and runs until Thursday, September 8th.
There’s a lot to look forward to at Expo 2022, from rides to fair food, and plenty of free entertainment for all ages. The firefighter show will be held again this year in the park area next to the Beadle Building from September 3-6.
The Van-Dells will take over the South Stage on Saturday, September 3rd at 7:30pm, with a variety of performances from the Fulton County Music Department including Mark Bishop, Sanctus Real and Mylon Hayes Family. On Thursday, September 8 at 7 p.m., Detroit-based country rock group Sinjon Smith will rock the South Stage.
There are many other events and activities, and the full 2022 schedule can be found on the Fulton County Fair website (FultonCountyFair.com). A schedule of events will also be available at the entrance to the show.
The Fulton County Fair will welcome classic rock groups 38 Special and Night Ranger on Sunday, with Jimmy Allen and Chase Beckham set to lead the Labor Day Country Concert. Other grandstand events include the NTPA Tractor Rally, Mini Tractor and Picara Rally, KOI Drag Racing, Ohio’s Greatest Demolition Derby and Power Wheel Derby, and Harness Racing.
Tickets are $5 per person, and children 15 and younger enter free (accompanied by an adult). Weekly passes for $20 are also available at various locations throughout the community. Tickets are $25 at the door and $23 online. The Fulton County Fair Committee looks forward to welcoming visitors to the “Top of Ohio” fairgrounds for the 165th Annual Fulton County Fair.
On busy days, daily attendance can more than double the county’s population of about 40,000 to 100,000 people, according to fair officials. In 2019, the show received 340,594 visitors, breaking the previous attendance record of 298,346.
