If there’s one thing Fat Joe is going to do, he’s going to call out people doing things that they shouldn’t be, all while telling a story. The folks online have not stopped doing the Money Challenge since it was started by NBA YoungBoy last week, and it has been interesting. Over the weekend, Nick Cannon warned folks flexing online that the IRS was watching, and yesterday Joe co-signed Nick’s message.
Last night he dropped a little history lesson on Instagram live, letting people know that this challenge started long before 2022. Joe explained that Busy Bee, a Hip Hop artist from New York, was the first to launch the trend when he spelled his name out in cash in the 1983 classic film ‘Wild Style.’ After the history lesson, an unknown man brought up Nick, saying he had the greatest entry. Joe responded, “Nick Cannon wrote it with toilet tissue it said, ‘The IRS is watching .’”
He continued, “I dare you to look down my Instagram, or anywhere on social media, and see if Fat Joe has ever pulled out a one hundred dollar bill. One! And then these people, when they get caught—you told on yourself .” But Joe wasn’t done shaming folks. The rapper got louder and declared, “You ain’t never had a legit job in your life. You are writing your names with mountains of money. F**k is wrong with you ?!”
As the challenge continues, YK Osiris used his money to spell out “Debt Free,” but shortly after, he remembered he owes some money to Young Thug. Singer Muni Long, known for her hit song ‘Hrs And Hrs’, lived up to her name by dropping her entry. Roommates, who would you like to participate in the challenge next?
