Lahore: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has offloaded a passenger bound for Abu Dhabi at Lahore airport for carrying a fake passport, ARY News reported on Friday.
According to details, the FIA ​​Immigration Department conducted a raid at Lahore airport and confiscated fake Pakistani passports holding Dutch and Swedish visas.
Passenger named Atif Irshad on flight EY 242 in Abu Dhabi was unloaded by the FIA.
According to preliminary information, the passenger got his passport and visa from an agency for 30 rupees.
The false passports were registered in the names of Ashir Azeem and Ali Raza. He had planned to travel to Italy after landing in Abu Dhabi.

Also, the accused has been handed over to Lahore Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for further investigation.
Earlier, the Foreign Office (FO) confirmed that four Pakistani citizens were missing and 16 survived after a boat carrying migrants crashed into rocks off the coast of southern Italy.
A senior embassy official met today with 16 Pakistani survivors of the capsized boat, FO spokesman Mumtaz Zahra Baloch said on Twitter. “Their physical version looks good,” she added.
