Abu Dhabi is gearing up to host one of the biggest viewing parties during the FIFA World Cup. From Yas Island to the mainland and beyond, a number of hotels, restaurants and fan areas will broadcast the games live for visitors to enjoy food and drinks.

Below is a curated list of places to join friends and family for all events from November 20th to December 18th.

Abu Dhabi Fan Zone, Yas Island

The Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT Abu Dhabi) will host football fans at a dedicated fan area in Yas Link, Yas Island. The 10,000 sqm facility can accommodate 2,000 people. There will be four dynamic areas: a subjective area with a giant LED screen, an event area, a dining area and an intimate VIP lounge area.

Shangri-La Soccer Village

Shangri-La’s Qaryat Al Beri will feature a “Football Village” at Plaza Beach with a unique seaside matchday atmosphere. There’s a Dh100 one-day pass for access to the football village, drinks and the beach. There is also a food station, DJ entertainment and a hookah lounge. In addition, there will be a quiz competition, including daily prizes, a comedy show and a BBQ brunch.

Zsa Zsa Lounge at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi

The lounge will show the game on a big screen, offering the ultimate football experience, including à la carte service from 4pm to 7pm and 30% off selected beverages. In addition, all rooms and suites at the five-star hotel on Al Maryah Island will showcase the competition.

The Ritz-Carlton, Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal

The luxury hotel has introduced a number of football season specials and gourmet meals at its dining destination, Dolce. The Sports Café will offer a range of special food packages for guests to sample during the hotel’s screenings of fixtures and sporting events. There are standard matchday deals and signature fan packages ranging from AED140 to AED400.

Marriott Hotel Downtown

For the downtown experience, Velocity Sports Bar and Restaurant will broadcast all football matches live through its 36 screens. Dining and live music deals will be offered to elevate the football festival atmosphere. .

Glo Lounge and Loca at Rosewood Abu Dhabi

Restaurants on Al Maryah Island offer visitors an exciting experience. Glo’s open-air bar, where visitors can watch all the action from a giant inflatable screen by the pool. There will be a special themed menu, from light snacks to a variety of grilling options. Additionally, Loca Restaurant and Bar will offer an authentic Mexican menu and atmosphere. Visitors will be able to see all the action on the terrace, and Loca will be broadcasting the game live on two huge screens.

The Green, Abu Dhabi City Golf Club

The golf club promises to provide fans with a carnival atmosphere. There will be giant screens showing the games, as well as live entertainment, dining experiences and other performances. Fans are encouraged to don their favorite team’s jersey.
