Finneas is recovering after being injured in a bicycle accident.
The 25-year-old record producer – who is the brother of pop star Billie Eilish – revealed on social media on Thursday (10/27/22) that he had “removed” his collarbone, and suffered a head injury after the flight. The handlebars of his bike, which meant he had to undergo surgery.
Aside from an X-ray, he wrote on Instagram: “Last Friday I was so happy to crash my e-bike, fly over the handlebars, completely destroy my collarbone, and fracture the radial head of my right elbow. . The severity of the displacement of my collarbone meant I needed surgery, I’m on the other side now and I’m feeling great!”
The ‘No Time To Die’ producer went on to express his “many thanks” to the medical staff and “thank you” for playing Billie’s upcoming show well, but said his lessons were “taken forever” because He didn’t put on the helmet first.
He added: “I would like to thank everyone who performed the surgery, Dr. Brian Lee, Dr. Neal Elattrache and Kerlan Jobe, it is a great honor to thank them for the incredible treatment they have given me. I would also like to thank Jonathan Erb PT guided me through the healing process and the physical recovery I am facing now.
