The huge warehouse space is pitch black, except for rackets, tennis balls and fluorescent orange, pink, green and red lines that glow in the dark, marking the courts and walls of the three cricket courts. The whole place looks like it just came out of a crude science fiction movie.

“We believe The Alley makes Padel more accessible and interesting,” Khalifa explained. “We will launch theme nights and courses suitable for Padel. We will also host birthday parties and may even have live DJ performances on some nights.”
Each cricket court is equipped with its own speaker system, so you can connect your own music to the court. If you are new to the sport, you can sign up for the head coach’s course.
Otherwise, just grab your four friends for a doubles match. The conference fee is 440 dirhams per hour, or 660 dirhams for 90 minutes, and a membership plan is also available.
