Flackstock returns in 2023, Caroline Flack honored at charity fundraiser | Entertainment

Caroline Flack will be honored in 2023 for the return of Flackstock.

The family of the late TV host, who tragically took her own life in February 2020 at the age of 40, honored her throughout the summer with its inaugural festival fundraiser, which included Joel Dormit, Fleur Dong, Professor Green and Natalie Ann Brulia, among others.

Now, organizers have announced that the event will return to Englefield House in Berkshire, UK on July 24.

Like the first festival, the upcoming event aims to raise vital funds for mental health charities.

This year, Flackstock brought in £325,000, split equally between Choose Love, Mind, Samaritans and the Charlie Waller Trust.

The same organization – which is said to “hold a special place in Caroline’s heart” – will benefit from the 2023 event, while the line-up will be announced “in due course”.

Flackstock is governed by a committee that includes Caroline’s mother Christine and sister Jody, her friends Natalie Pinkham, Dawn O’Porter, Anna Blue, Sarah Tyekiff and Leigh and Jill Francis.

Organizers are keen to see the festival become a “traditional” event.

They said in a joint statement: “Flackstock is an incredible way to honor our friend Caroline, but it’s so much more than that – a joyful place where people can talk about mental health with ease.

“There was a strong desire for us to come back, so we’re back to make Flackstock a traditional festival, raising money and awareness for a range of outstanding charities.

“We hope everyone will join us in 2023 for this amazing event.”

A documentary about the first festival was released in August, and Caroline’s mom, Kristen, said “singing, dancing and most of all laughing” were her daughter’s favorite things to do.

She added: “Flackstock is a brilliant idea for those who knew her best and the perfect way to remember her singing, dancing and most importantly, her laugh.”

Tickets for Flackstock 2023 will be available from AXS.com Thursday, December 15 at 10am.
