Passengers must receive a second dose of vaccine at least 14 days before travel.
Dubai’s flagship airline Emirates Airlines released a list on Tuesday, listing 11 countries/territories where stranded residents can return or transit, provided they have received two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine in the UAE.

In addition, they must receive a second dose of the vaccine at least 14 days before travel and have a certificate that proves this.

The airline stated: “The UAE authorities have announced that from August 5, 2021, eligible passengers from the following countries/regions will be allowed to travel to/through the UAE.”

On Tuesday, the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Agency (NCEMA) announced that it will also allow vaccinated and unvaccinated travelers from key departments to enter. These include health workers employed in the UAE: doctors, nurses and technicians.
Teachers from universities, colleges, schools and educational institutions can also return home.
Students, humanitarian cases, persons employed by federal and local government agencies, and persons receiving treatment in the UAE are other exempt categories.
