Flights to the UAE: Pakistan Airlines and healthcare company negotiate rapid PCR test-News

Currently, thousands of Pakistanis holding UAE residence visas are trapped due to the unavailability of airport facilities.

Pakistan Airways is negotiating with different healthcare service providers in the country to provide rapid PCR testing facilities at the airport for passengers travelling to the UAE.

“Negotiating with medical service providers to introduce rapid PCR testing at Pakistani airports. PIA UAE Regional Manager Shahid Mughal said that all airlines, including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), are working hard to arrange this facility.

The Dawn newspaper reported on Sunday that the Ministry of Health of Pakistan has asked airlines to set up inspection counters for passengers travelling to the UAE at the airport.

Chutai Laboratory, one of Pakistan’s largest laboratories, stated that rapid PCR testing facilities are not widely used in the country.
