Fly Jinnah: Most Pakistanis agree with the founder’s name to engage in business activities-News

Interesting debate

About 60% of survey participants said “yes” to this move, while 30% opposed this idea, saying that the government should not allow business activities in the name of the country’s founder. The remaining 10% of survey participants remained neutral.

In an interesting debate, survey participants urged Prime Minister Imran Khan to change the name of “Fly Jinnah” to “Jinnah Airline” or “Jinnah Air” because it sounds more respected and elegant.

Aamir Larik, customer relations manager at Emirates NBD, said that using the founder’s name for commercial purposes is not harmful.

“In fact, through this move, other people and countries will also become interested in this founder,” Lalique said on LinkedIn.

Invalid name

Indrajit Basu, a marketing resource and technology enthusiast in the UAE, said that the name of the father of a country is very suitable for airports or cities, but it may pose challenges to airlines.

“The airline’s success will depend on service, safety and overall value proposition, so it is not necessarily a non-functional name,” Basu commented on LinkedIn in response to a KT investigation.

No commercial use

Some participants strongly opposed this idea and stated that the government should not allow commercial activities in the name of the founding father.

“Quaid’s name should not be allowed. In the list of names prohibited by the SECP, the names of celebrities/unique characters can only be used with the permission of the competent authority. Jinnah cannot be used in the name of any commercial enterprise to be granted,” from Fei Mudadaq Zulqarnain, a Pakistani citizen of Sarabad, tweeted.

Jinnah Air is better

Following SereneAir and Air Sial, “Fly Jinnah” will become the newest member of Pakistan’s growing aviation market. Jet Green Airline and Q-Airlines are also obtaining AOC certificates from the Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority.
